Outdoor to Indoor

Alex played in his first Futsal game. Here he is streaking down the sideline for one of his three goals. Must be those sweet new indoor shoes. Lucas plays in his first Biddyball game December 7. He has the best coach in the league so the expectations are very high.

Then Fall, Now Winter

I LOVE SNOW!
GET OUT OF MY WAY!
I'm going to take out my dad down below.
A good day to be in the mountains.

Fall Hiking

"Mom, dad look at me! I'm a tiger. Grrrr." Nice kitty.
The boys.
We sure look cool in YOUR shades. Thanks for bringing them for us to wear.
"Why do you have to bury it mom?"
"Why is mom always reminding us to go to the bathroom before we leave the house? Geeezzz!" Both boys had #2 emergencies on our short hike. Beautiful day in the Utah mountains though.

Halloween, High School and Poopy Shoes

Costume football on Halloween. Cool.
A successful and fun Halloween party at the Forsberg house....except for the dog poop that was tracked throughout. We don't have direct proof, but we're pretty sure it was Sponge Bob Poo Shoe that did it. Thank goodness for tile flooring.
I dressed as myself in 1989 and Laurie dressed as a dirty hippy. Ahhh high school. Nothing much has changed. Laurie still can't keep her eyes open for pictures. However, I can still button my letter jacket...barely. Thanks mom for always buying my clothes too big. It finally paid off. Now if I can just find my size 13 moon boots.
NINJA PLEASE! Stealthy isn't he?
The Grim Reaper also paid us a visit. Hopefully this isn't a sign of things to come today. CUZ THE PACKERS NEED TO WIN!!!

An X-League First for the A-Train

The A-Train tries to stay warm on the bench with his teammates. "No mom I don't need my hat. But this blanket sure is nice."
Alex receives the throw in, turns up field, blows past a defender, one DRIBBLE, TWO DRIBBLES, CLOSER TO THE GOAL, LAST QUICK DRIBBLE!!!!.....
....SHOT!!! GOAL ASSO!!! A powerful upper right corner blast past the goalie. Great shot!
Notice the Michael Jordan-esque tongue. Alex scored his first goal in the X-League. He was obviously super happy and proud.

Lucas B - Soccer Fan, Nut Megger and Cookie Monster

Lucas (the ever-present Alex fan) braved the cold frigid winds of the Tooele frozen tundra. The wind was blowing about 30 miles an hour. Ahhhh, Tooele - No trees, strong winds and an hour drive to boot!
One more step punk and you'll get this forearm to the neck. I am a ninja don't you know.
Juke, blast, nut meg, GOAL ASSO! GOAL ASSO! GOAL ASSO! We finally convinced Lucas that his after goal celebrations might be slightly over the top. Just because to pros do the airplane after they score doesn't mean you have to.
I know they don't have snacks in Alex's X-League but until then, I'll enjoy my Halloween soccer-day cookies. WHOOHOO! MORE SUGAR!!!
